Ok... I REALLY want to make something to share, but I'm a little lazy and want
to do it the "easy" way... (?!) But I'm now starting to think that easy is not
using the software on the market.

We have AutoCAD here at work, but I'm having real difficulties in using it.
I've tried the trial of 3DS Max, but I can't seem to get the Booleans to work
properly, and ended up with a real mess....

Can anyone suggests a freeware or open source 3D creation software that allows
you to do more of a sculpting sort of thing? I don't think I'll have
difficulty in manipulating the toy after the making - but it's the making that
is slowing me down. I also tried Google Sketchup, but it's a little too
basic...

Anyone?

Mandy

  ...........Junkyard Wars

  I miss that show!

Reminded me of my childhood and the highly dangerous stuff we built.
Best ticket I ever got was when I was 14 years old at 2 am doing 84 mph on a
bicycle modified with a 5 hp Briggs and Stratton engine.
As I remember my parents were not thrilled at having to come pick us up from
the police station.......
