Bill,

There are several factors involved there, such as *which* "native
format" you're using, what sort of compression levels you've set for
whatever is producing your .PDF files, how many photos (if any, and
how large they are) you've included in your instructions, whether
you're embedding fonts or subsets of fonts and which ones, etc.

Something's amiss. :-)
