Hello, everyone, Today at Comic-Con International in San Diego, I spotted a young man in a white lab coat carrying a paper model as a prop! This was the Half-Life 2 gravity gun by Chamoo ( http://www.freewebs.com/chamoo_papercrafts/halflife.htm ), scaled up substantially to about two feet in length, reinforced with balsa and popsicle sticks inside, and with added lights and sounds controlled by a square pushbutton trigger switch from Radio Shack. he even had a bottle of Krazy Glue in his pocket because he knew he'd manage to knock some part of it off in the crowd. :-)
No photo, alas; I didn't take my camera long this time, and there really wasn't room for photography at that end of the hall in any case, but I think this fellow was as delighted to have someone interested in his prop as I was to see it. <G> -- Mike Hungerford http://www.chthulhu.com/models.html A heinous crime, a show of force, (A murder would be nice, of course ...) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
