Excuse me for butting in, but the two sister ships of the Titanic were the
Olympic and Britannia. The Carpathia was the one that came to the Titanic's aid.

David:

That is, indeed, our loss as your designs are some of the most detailed, and
of various ship types, I have seen over the years. I imagine it would be a
tremendous project for a ship model of that size and with your obvious high
standards. Might you consider tackling, perhaps, a sister ship or the RMS
Carpathia? One ship I would like to see available, for personal reasons, is
the HMT Rohna. Just too little information on her, I suppose.

I look forward to whatever project you decide to take on.

Cheers!
Jim

Bob,

I would not build any of them at the moment :-(

The best (most accurate) seems to be the 1:200 scale one by GPM I
think it is - except the decks are a very funny colour and the funnels
are nearly red! Scanning and tweaking the model seems to be a big job
for an A3+ model on 20-odd sheets. It is full hull so could be reduced
to waterline fairly easily.

I intend to wait for that one true Titanic model to arrive - then buy
two copies of it, 1 to build and 1 to keep. Also, just to clarify
things, I have no intention of designing a Titanic model, ever.

All the best

David Hathaway
