Weighing in: JW, your pirated beer glasses are WAY too small! The beer I buy comes in either 22 oz or 750 ml bottles, sometimes even bigger. <G>
Danny, I agree: Really Good Beer should be enjoyed by itself. Schnapps is much too sweet for my liking in any case. Paul, beer should only be mixed with other beer; your mileage obviously varies. <G> Paul (again), Jägermeister is best enjoyed VERY cold and all by itself; it's wonderful when one has a head cold. I have a bottle that's been in my freezer for nearly ten years -- the label has even disintegrated! -- and only used for medicinal purposes. :-) As for mixed beers, I'm currenly drinking an Ommegang "Three Philosophers" ( http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/ommegang-three-philosophers/13667/ ) which is a blend of a Belgian-style Quadrupel ale and some nice kriek lambic. At just under 10% alcohol, it's making typing an adventure!
