I'm not *quite* old enough to have read the Golden Age stories when they first came out, but I enjoy your stuff nonetheless. Wife and I watch "Smallville". Their two-hour "tribute" to the Golden Age really ticked me off. If you haven't seen it, off-topic rant with SPOILERS follows. * * * * * * * * The Golden Age superheroes weren't around in the current Lois and Clark's time because some shady Government agency had tried to get them to work exclusively for them; when the heroes declined, the agency trumped up charges against them and put them in prison! The heroes, being Good Guys, didn't resist! I'm sorry, but BS! If nothing else I refuse to accept that the Oans would permit a Green Lantern to abandon his post. Mark L.
