Rick Didn't quite understand that Mike Did as you said, but to no avail - JavaScript had been ernabled all the time. I then tried opening using Firefox, and lo and behold, it worked. Still don't know what the problem is, as I have no problems downloading pdf files. Thus, I can download using Firefox, but not with IE (latest version, on Windows 7). After buying a new PC (laptop) with Windows 7, I am not at all happy, whether it be the new Livemail (no longer OE), Windows 7 (no longer XP), the new Microsoft Office (no longer Office 97). The old ones worked better, were simpler and not cluttered with unusable bits and bobs. Bob Schedler
