Looking at the numbers you have givin, Robby will be a little over 21 inches
tall.

the way I determinded this was (540mm devided by 25.4 = 21.25+) inches

The 25.4 is how many milimeters are in an inch,   but all in all, looks like
its going to be a great model when done.

Having talked about upscaling this model in an earlier post, I couldn't help
looking into it. The Uhu02 Robby is a beautiful piece of work and now no longer
available from his site unless you know the login for his library, but having
been greedy enough to grab it when it came out I broke one of the cardinal
rules and started it before finishing the Winchester.
Not being a user of the Dark Side I hunted around and found this pearler of a
program  http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Printing/Pdfposter-38653.shtml
installed it and and opened a terminal and typed pdfposter -s2 <infile>.pdf
<outfile>.pdf which instantly converted the individual pdf's , one at a time of
course, to spread over 4 pages. Not being a rocket scientist, I deduced that
the output files are 4 times the original size so this will be large.
I'm not sure if anyone here has attempted this model but I had and the original
size was very difficult due to the small parts and the complexity so 4x seems
to be a good place to start. Doing a rough calculation from an existing model I
have I came up with a standing height of about 540mm...should be an interesting
build. The increase in size doesn't seemed to have messed with the fit of
anything so far...more to come as it progresses.
The only thing I may have to do is add some support but as most of the parts
are compound curves I'm hoping it will be strong enough to basically support
itself even though it's only printed on 150gsm A4 card.
