Hello, everyone,

I was contacted by Tara Oakes, one of the staff members of the WFC;
her e-mail is appended below in its entirety. If anyone can help her
out with a suitable model or two for display, please contact her
directly, and use the subject of this e-mail as your subject line.

Regarding the "Dawn Treader" mentioned in her e-mail, I suspect it's
Roger Pattendon's model, and I have sent her a copy of his
instructions, so there's no need to bombard her with duplicates.

The convention is the last weekend in October in San Diego, so if
you're not in the general vicinity of San Diego and wish to provide a
model, please leave ample time for getting it there.

Hello Mike,

Hi, I'm Tara Oakes. I'm one of the people running the Hospitality
Suite for the World Fantasy Convention that is in San Diego this next
month. The theme of WFC is "Sailing the Seas of Imagination". We have
a number of things to decorate the suite such as ship shaped kites to
hang and we'll be doing nautical decorations.

I would like to know if you have any models of ships from the worlds
of fantasy that we could borrow for decorations. Ships such as the
Dawn Treader and such would be great. (Kate Evans, whom I'm working
with, said that she found a Dawn Treader on line and sent me the link,
but there's no instructions. I could probably figure it out, but my
expertise would show. As in "none".)

If you could let me know I would really appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Tara Oakes
Hospitality Suite 2nd
