Hi There is a website once used by George W Proctor to host 3D models he'd done of popular SF subjects.
http://www.geowproctor.com/labmesh.htm He was a science fiction author, among other things. Unfortunately, he passed away and while most of the website is there, the files for the 3D meshes were stored elsewhere and that site no longer has them. Does anyone have copies of these files? I've got a few - the Space 1999 Eagle, the Day The Earth Stood Still saucer, and (maybe not) the galactica - but that one doesn't open in various programs. For that matter, the Eagle is a .max file and impossible to open, too. All the other archives are apparently damaged and the Wayback machine at Archive.org has no snapshots of the files. Does anyone have copies of these? Sure hope so. I had a wild hare that I thought I'd make a paper model at some point of the 20 Million Miles from Earth ship.
