So.... Has anyone tried to take a model like that and convert the bit that connects the fuselage segments from the sawtooth to a separate strip? I'd guess the sawtooth isn't as realistic as the strips. Meg Hi Meg, I haven't built this model but have done others and find personally that cutting off the tabs and using an internal strip is much better for the finish of the model. Being halfway through a Halinsky Huuricane that uses the strip method shows the benefits of doing it this way. To make it work though I have found that there needs to be an internal former at each join. This being the case you can wrap each new section onto the strip rather than roll each section and hope that the circumferences are identical when they go together.
