Bill, I'm looking at these model parts, I'd like to use this model for a kids build, but you have me worried about the "Bit fiddly, but doable." footnote. Specifically I'm looking at part #7, is there any reason to take out center hole? seems to me by leaving that in tact, part #11+12, would just glue right on top and make it a whole lot stronger.
