Ah. It's not my sort of thing. I had a friend when I was a kid, who used to make his own wargames ~ things like a board and tiles with tanks, etc on them., I *think* this predated the packaged war games. And he would scratch build ships and such from paper. He'd copy the sheets at the library, knowing he was only supposed to use the machine for library material.
He just had a knack. I remember he built a very elaborate warship (destroyer?). He lined it with foil so he could float it. Then he filled it with gunpowder and his ship had a glorious ending. :) On Thu, Oct 4, 2012 at 9:38 PM, Mike Hungerford <[email protected]> wrote: > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer_40,000 > > -- > Mike Hungerford > http://www.chthulhu.com/models.html > > On 10/4/12, Meg Winters <[email protected]> wrote: > > There have been about sixty "Whole Bunch of 40K Goodness" messages since > I > > joined this grou. > > > > What the heck is 40K? > > > > -- > > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > > "Papermodels II" group. > > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > > [email protected]. > > For more options, visit this group at > > http://groups.google.com/group/papermodels?hl=en. > > > > > > > -- > *Mike Hungerford* > http://www.chthulhu.com/ > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Papermodels II" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/papermodels?hl=en. > > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
