Perdana's site showed me two broken links last night. The first was a very cute blue elephant that I feel will be a GREAT conversation starter; we'll just SEE wao can ignore/forget the blue elephant in the room!!!
He also referred me to Magnus Morck's Myspace site for the Maple Leaf paddlewheeler. That site also shows a lightship tender and several other interesting ships, but you can't get there from there.
Does anybody have them or know where to get them?Zardoz published a picture on his site http://www.jade.dti.ne.jp/~zardoz/papercraft/index.html of a waterline model of a hippo that he has never offered. Fuji-Xerox now has one with 2D legs but a good body and head http://www.fujixerox.co.jp/support/software/docuworks/asobo/ that could be given the same treatment and look very nice. You'll need Docu-Works Viewer (the Lite version is free) to open it. It's painted flesh-pink, so you could make it gray by de-saturating it in Photoshop or similar manipulator, but you might get a neat effect if you just printed it as is on neutral grey paper...
