Kamikuzu, though the site is gone or moved from http://kamikuzu.fc2web.com/html-1/special/02-hander.html
I found this in my notes, from Tom Cotton, but it refers to an image, and the image link is no longer valid: "Here is how I assembled the moving finger joint in that hand model. I hope my explanation is clear. The procedure was easy to do, writing it down seems to be the difficult part. :) Use this picture for reference: http://www.smartgroups.com/pictures/openpicture.cfm?GID=414562&AlbumID=5410617&PictureID=28975530 The black arrows show what parts get glued to each other. They are part of the original drawing. The red lines, numbers, and letters are what I added. Parts 8A and 8B are two separates pieces that make up the moving joint. 9A is the long rectangular piece. It wraps around the area where 8A and 8B meet. Do not glue 8A and 8B together. 9B and 9D are squares with the centers cut out. 9C and 9E are discs. The following is done to both sides of the joint. You glue 9E to 8A. 9C is sandwiched between 9B and 9D. You glue the perimeters of 9B and 9D together, capturing 9C between them. 9C needs to have free movement so be sure not to glue 9C to either 9B or 9D. The centers of 9C and 9E get glued together. 9C needs to have free movement. The outside perimeter of 9B gets glued to 9A. I found that you need to leave enough room at the bottom of 9A so it can be glued to 8B. I did it by making 9A a little wider."
