Here's where the Farnsworth is up to. One more light on the inside panel
and the lid to go. This has been a fun build but if anyone here is going to
try it just make sure you know where every part is to go on before gluing.
The instructions are a bit light on and some creative thinking is needed to
work some of the parts out, I nearly got caught out a couple of times. Just
take your time and dry fit everything.
The photo isn't great, my camera croaked and I've had to use the webcam on
my 5 year old Asus so quality isn't magnificent. Looking forward to
finishing this and then getting on with The Betty, so far I've completed
part of one of the arms and it looks and builds fantastically. One small
thing though for anyone building the Betty...watch out for the small
concave parts that fit inside the ends of the arms, I mistakenly made them
convex and they fitted together perfectly but when I realised the mistake
and remade them concave I found the edges of the ends didn't make it flush
with the sides leading me to believe that they were designed to be convex
by mistake. I don't really know since I couldn't design a cardmodel to save
my life so it's just a guess.
