I use the HP 8600 plus now for about 5 years and it served me very well. The
print head bit the dust recently and we replaced the 8600 with an HP 4620. It
uses the same ink as the old 8600 and we got it on sale at Staples for half
price. It does a great job on all of my paper models. I print them on 110 card

Subject: [Papermodels II 49324] Buying A Printer

My Pixma MX870 all in one is now just a scanner. I have to
jump through some hoops just to get it to scan since I've been getting the
generic B200 error at start up. I cleaned the print head. One of the screens
looks a little wavy. Maybe I could replace the head, or maybe I should buy a
new printer. I'm looking at the Canon MG7520 for $110 with generic cartridges,
2 sets with gray for $16. I’m intrigued
by the CD printer on the MG7520. I also appreciate 9600 DPI and the rear tray.
Any opinions on
what I should do? I don’t need or want auto feed.

Thanks
