I would do like I did and borrow a Scan and Cut to try it out before buying.  I 
bought the low tack mats for use with card stock and a blade.  Just not enough 
control in identifying what to cut and what not with the 350, but the new DX 
line supposedly works better.  Certainly try before you buy if you can.  Amazon 
has a great return policy, but better if a local card, quilting or sewing 
person has one you can try out.  A lot of advertised features are apparently 
not readily available and cost extra with the new DX.
