Subject: [Papermodels II 50350] Quad

With all the social isolation there has been a bit of progress with the
gun tractor. The steering box, pitman arm and front brake drums with the
tie rod are in, I did make a mistake and put the tie rod in front of the
diff instead of behind it but the amount of glue I used to hold the
brake drum securely to the diff housing means big time destructo to
remove it so I think it will have to stay, I may be able to fudge
it...haven't decided just yet.

The two front wheels are done although they are just sitting there for
the time being until I get the exhaust pipe and muffler in. One fuel
tank is in but because I made a mess of the first attempt I now have to
reprint and do it again, one of the joys of card modelling is that
ability of course. Once I get the exhaust in I can then complete the two
rear wheels, get them lined up correctly and then start on the bodywork.

All great fun and a very pleasant model to build, great value for the
price. more to come.

Bones
