Some information you (plural you) may find useful
regarding ISBN numbering.

ISBN has had a 9-digit code since 1970, but since
January 1, 2007 it has changed to a 13-digit code as a
new Global Standards (GS1) measure.

The first digits identify the group, usually
linguistic or national.

In this case ISBN 977-5471-48-6 :

The first digits 977 identify Al-Qahira, also known as
Cairo or Caire, etc.

5471 identifies the publisher Misr al-Arabiya

48 identifies the title

6 is the checksum digit, which might be (but I am not
positive) the number assigned to printed English books
in Egypt (Misr).
