Dear Dr Barker,

Yes, we may well be interested if we could locate sufficient funds.
Can you give more particulars about the collection?

As you may know, Cincinnati is home to both Peter van Minnen and
myself. We hosted the Papyrological Summer Institute here in the US a
couple of years ago (for which we had to borrow specimens from UMich).
Our sole interest, then, is in assembling a teaching collection, which
was of course the intention behind the Oxyrhynchus distribution to US
institutions.

Very best, -w.

I have been asked to act as a go between for a US institution that
is wanting to sell 8 Oxyrhynchus papyri and one early first
century AD unedited ms from Tebtunis. The institution wishes at this
stage to remain anonymous and is wanting another institution/s to
purchase them rather than a private individual. If anyone is
interested could you please contact me via my personal email.

Thanks,
Don
