This was covered on the list in the last week or two I think, but I don't have an archive handy to grep for you. It's a perl 5.8.7 problem.. There are two solutions:
. Build PAR yourself (you can use Microsoft's free compiler) - this is what I did. . Someone posted an updated PAR package (check the list archive) which is alledged to work - YMMV with this however as I haven't tried it ;)
