On approximately 11/3/2006 9:51 AM, came the following characters from
the keyboard of Steffen Mueller:
Now, I'd like to ask all of you to a) scrutinize what I have written
so far,
"Since they wealth" => "Since the wealth"
"Alan Steward" => "Alan Stewart" (at least twice in the document, also
in this email)
I'm really sorry for the latter spelling mistake - I was so sure I got
it right! (I even double checked, but still got it wrong.) Then again,
people get *my* name wrong all the time ;)
I'll correct these mistakes within the minute unless somebody else did
already.

And if we do have a commit-bit? Wouldn't independent edits just cause
conflicts at commit time? (SVN newbie here) Or do you figure that we
should just use fast update/edit/commit cycles?
Make sure you do check whether the sources have been modified since you
started editing the file. Other than that, use SVN's merging capabilities.
I think we're safely spread across time zones, too.
