The original bug IS fixed. What you see is a different issue with the build 
process.
But I already told you this, feel free to open a new bug (but I know about the 
issue,
but don't have time to investigate right now).
If you don't know what to do after dmake, RTFM on Howto install stuff from 
CPAN.
