It works much better now: $ time ./src/parallel --tag -j30 -S .. --nonall --timeout=10 grep domain /etc/resolv.conf ... real 0m12.526s user 0m6.440s sys 0m2.228s > why do -j30? Why not -j0? Because I get this error: Undefined subroutine &Data::Dump::dump called at ./src/parallel line 1949, <GEN0> line 1. I do get most of the expected lines of output, but that error occur sometimes as number 3 or 4 line. I do net get it every time. /hans
