Hi to everybody, I would like to announce that I have just released a small tool to produce timeline plots for the jobs executed by GNU parallel:
https://github.com/ziotom78/plot_joblog The program accepts a jobfile produced by GNU Parallel using the --jobfile option and produces a character plot similar to this: 1: |########### | 2: |##################################################| 3: |##################### | 4: |######### | 5: | ###################################### | 6: | ########################### | I wrote it in order to help me optimizing some scripts that make heavy use of GNU parallel.
