Hello

I think that Luc is speaking about the Windows version but there is a similar problem on the Linux64-x86 version: it is impossible to load the VisIt plugin from the binaries:

Using "Tool / Manage plugins" menu from the "(PV installation root folder)/bin/plugins/VisItReaderPlugin" folder gives me this error: QLibrary::load_sys: Cannot load /tmp_user/eos060/grenon/paraview-3.6.1-Linux-x86_64/bin/plugins/VisItReaderPlugin/libVisItReaderPlugin.so (liblightweight_visit_vtk.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
I checked that libVisItReaderPlugin.so and liblightweight_visit_vtk.so both existed in the binaries tree.

Maybe this may help you.

For your information, I had posted this Linux problem on the "Paraview 3.6 announcement" thread but I think the better place is here.

Best regards.
