Yes, that isn't related to X11, it is part of the way vtkManta works in ParaView and a proper fix is on my long term goal list. In the meantime, you can get around it only if you compile a server to run in pure offscreen mode and connect to that. > make install also doesn't seem to copy over all the manta stuff, I'll > file a separate bug for that.
