If you make a source (I tested with a cone source), split the view to show a spreadsheet view, and select a point on the cone, nothing shows up in the spreadsheet view. In fact, under Attribute the only option is FieldData. If you do something so that the points get PointData (e.g. GenerateSurfaceNormals), you can then select a point and see the normal, coordinate, and point ID of the selected point. Is there a reason for this behavior? Or could it be changed so that the coordinate and ID could be seen even if the object doesn't have any PointData?
