That's right, you're missing the python bindings for
vtkFileSeriesReader.  You can get them by importing the proper python
bindings library.  Depending on your version of paraview, it will be:

import libvtkPVVTKExtensionsPython

or for paraview 3.10 and earlier:

import libvtkPVFiltersPython
