I don't think it is documented anywhere. It is easy to put one together though by exporting a color map by clicking "Save" and then "Export" on the "Color Scale Editor" dialog and opening up the resulting xml file in a text editor. It also helps to look at: Qt/Components/pqColorPresetManager::importColorMap()
