Setting opacity less than 1 on a ParaView source (cylinder) does not change the problem.

Thanks always,
Jalel

Not sure what's going on. Is this image with stereo enabled? Can you share the dataset or reproduce the problem with something already in ParaVIewData or some ParaView source?

It's really better, but the image is not smooth yet (see attached

    Thanks always,

    Jalel,

Ensure that your "Remote Rendering Threshold" is checked and set
to 0. The Remote Rendering Threshold can be accessed from the
"Edit |Settings" Dialog on the Render View | Server page.

        Dear Utkarsh,

As you suggested, I installed 3.98 on the wall display
        with qt-4.8.3 and openmpi-1.4.3.

First of all, I would like to thank you about the latest
        beta release of paraview 3.98.
It works quite fine and seems faster than older releases.

The good news is that 3.98 does'nt crash as 3.14.1 do.
However, with 3.98, as soon as opacity is less than 1,
the image is not complete on the wall (see attached files).

Image-1 : image is complete on the wall when opacity=1
Image-2 : image is cut on the wall when opacity < 1
Image-3 : image as it should be seen on the wall if opacity<1

        Thanks a lot,

        J.

Is it possible to try the latest version of ParaView
        (ideally the 3.98.0-RC*)?

            Hi,

I am using paraview-3.14.1 on a wall display under
            Linux x86_64, Centos 2.6.18-238.19.1.el5, OpenMPI-1.4.3.
When opacity value is <1, server crashes with a
            segfault signal.

                Notes:
                * This situation occurs also on 12.x series release.
                * On each single display opacity works fine.

            Any ideas ?

            Thanks a lot,
            Jalel
