This makes sense - my update was yesterday, then when I had issues, I blew the tree totally away and started from scratch. One of the failures had your name Seb on one of the cmake files from two days ago. One thing that was crazy on an earlier make install is that it was trying to copy a vtk directory into the executable file "/projects/viz/paraview/ParaView/4.1.0-alan/Linux-eng-sci-rhel6-x86_64/lib/paraview-4.0/paraview" as though paraview was also a directory. Obviously, not possible.

If that's the case this should be fixed by the next gatekeeper review. But that can only be the case if this is based on a very recent source tree (a week old at most) Seb On Wed, Sep 11, 2013 at 9:12 AM, Utkarsh Ayachit <utkarsh.ayac...@kitware.com<mailto:utkarsh.ayac...@kitware.com>> wrote: Looks like "/projects/viz/paraview/ParaView/4.1.0-alan/Linux-eng-sci-rhel6-x86_64/lib/paraview-4.0/paraview" couldn't be copied over. Can you check if it exists? Are you doing an install over an already installed location?
