This issue has been already reported/discussed here on the mailing list
and we are in the process of tracking it down.

Then the only way to show scalarbars is to interact the view.

linux server (RHEL 5.8), linux client on same host
linux server (RHEL 5.8), windows client (win 7)
Is it a known issue ? any drawbacks ?
