A bit more detail. I also received the garbage that Dennis did. When running Rendering Settings as use offscreen memory, all was well. When running use off screen memory off, I got all of this verbiage. But, my .avi’s were good.
Dennis – try opening your .avi’s with VLC. Does that work? Here is the verbiage: [avi @ 0x79d2760] Using AVStream.codec.time_base as a timebase hint to the muxer is deprecated. Set AVStream.time_base instead. [avi @ 0x79d2760] Encoder did not produce proper pts, making some up. [avi @ 0xc05c8c0] Using AVStream.codec.time_base as a timebase hint to the muxer is deprecated. Dennis, I believe that the first line isn’t important. I believe that the second line is fatal. This is what we were seeing with 5.4.0, that I thought we fixed. Mind passing me directions to replicate (including size of the viewport, when shown in the Save Animation window, whether this is a custom build, the OS, and a dataset? If I can replicate, I will write it up. Otherwise, you write it up, I will mark appropriately?
