Works just fine on OpenSolaris with sun's cc. (I did get "90 subtests
UNEXPECTEDLY SUCCEEDED", but they were in t/dynoplibs/random-range, and I
expect they have nothing to do with this branch.)
Nice job. It sounds like a cleaner, simpler, and yet more powerful plan.
