Where exactly are you seeing them?

When I look at http://trac.parrot.org/parrot/browser/tags or call 'svn ls https://svn.parrot.org/parrot/tags', I only see either release tags or tags created when we moved from CVS to Subversion seven years ago.

From time to time I have used an svn-branch creation tool which created a tag to, as chromatic has noted, note a branch point for later use in 'svn merge'. However, I have deleted all such tags from our repository (the last of them earlier today). The ones you are seeing somewhere look like tags I deleted >2 years ago.

That problem aside, I believe it would be useful to convert all the RELEASE tags into git tags. And if one of those tags (V1??) marks the point at which we converted from CVS to Subversion, it would be useful to bring that along as well.

Thank you very much.
