My preference would be against auto-promotion too, but I don't feel
strongly on it. However, at this point I'd be *very* surprised if we're
still using (in Rakudo) the Integer/Float PMCs for our Int/Num types
after the meta-model replacement lands. Not that the change wouldn't
potentially cause us issues if it lands before the meta-model
refactor... :-)
