I threw it at my oldest Solaris/SPARC box to see what would happen.
Unfortunately, it tripped up over the '//'-style comments (which I know
are there as temporary placeholder reminders for various things, so I'm
not complaining). I removed a bunch of them, but more seemed to appear.
I'm out of time, but I never did get it to build all the way. However,
apart from the // comments, I didn't encounter any errors.
