Hi Anant,

    If the disk size exceeds 2TB, hopefully DOS type can't
accommodate due to it's 16 byte limitation per partition.
On that case, what Parted will do ?

Parted supports both DOS and GPT style disk-labels and will preserve the
existing formats as-is. So, if your existing disk label style is DOS, it
will still be DOS after you repartition using Parted.
