People really shouldn't be doing that. It wastes time copying unused space and causes problems with duplicated UUIDs, as well was preserving any existing filesystem fragmentation, and of course, the size matching issues. Trying to do this with a disk with mdraid or lvm partitions on it will really confuse the hell out of mdadm/lvm. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with undefined - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJQ03iXAAoJEJrBOlT6nu75hLgIALlfKpYUEYgaAVn4Pkpy9Fvl WyA3Bwn7YMJPGV46cLlNpXvW1fJd0DdD/grF3taJj92PzhznNNXi0RjNBuJp3lo/ TGFTU1pYnVDk8lADDas8J/UFX9w1S6+BT70SmlON+RBrLCkYaC9M25BEbsoXK2Po 26q2JA6D1M6/ig7m96tH++Mc3SvHbB/S89XFwvvHX5Eo2eC6NwLhCX03SZB086RG fRti1U3d+E+L7LDZNat1MbgczPak1oJkKqon31lMLqLfZr/gn7BRWw4q5nNVV11d VNCGkUPLJvAzQP93kTY62Ux0Uz/i3Dhx+t7incwnSk4dWdqiYwQUKSe4w7LUiyw= =aHmZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
