Yes, but the "native disk sector units" are always 512 bytes since that is what devmapper tells us it is. We have no idea that there is a 4k sector disk underneath devmapper. > On 512b sector disks it will basically be a noop, yes. But they > aren't the problem. It's *always* a noop though since the devmapper disk is *always* using 512 byte sectors, even when it is stacked on top of a 4k disk. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.17 (MingW32) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJU1OzQAAoJENRVrw2cjl5RtZQH/0iD7qE8MIA/ve15iJFpszIw FiaiT3Q5YrO11hVIUXU7x3Gwir4YvcjF7uPi/XD54edcitNFM/ueSi6XiDChA4+Z IEeLxakYvSNrzOTeMXyEWRQHnUyGhsDYLnw5Xy3/4PgPYvpXd50WUiQMHw4+EuV8 my1gnlZz1zuhU+q00OruQ10Jwdr9n37N+tCqM16943UFyOcSzebA7YVuomxtc/4z u8AhttYj7sN7MkH6EIAjCsxtvy4uB4PWHEHb6pZVXx6aHWk09FvrFCVqQaSxkv5a rPjPjfiSDc20oFmvZHYnFUVGmDSr1Lb+KUB7ab5lmJPxd+HooLvTKr1MIXHGrKc= =ZXgy -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
