Not that I can claim this is a "common" case, but ... in my case, my
xpra *generally* has no clients.  I use mutt in a screen for email,
and I spawn the screen with an xpra server as its DISPLAY.  When I
need to view attachments, viewers are spawned on the xpra display.
The balance of the time, it is often empty.
