New issue 29 by tokenmathguy: xpra from source doesn't list pick up active
sessions and doesn't produce socket

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. build and install xpra from source (rev 473:d9bf17ecb1c5)
2. issue command xpra start :1111
3. issue command xpra list
4. no sessions are found
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
active sessions are expected as with xpra-0.0.6. instead no session is
active, no sockets are created, yet an Xvfb-for-Xpra is an active process
consuming cpu cycles. output of successful and failed runs for 0.0.6 and
tip, respectively, are attached.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
tip revision from mercurial. linux gentoo.
