filled out remaining test methods. handled testing UNKNOWN state by using
chmod on the socket.
the setUp and tearDown methods clean out the default dir of all sockets, so
tests do not walk over each other. this is non-ideal, as it will clobber
any existing xpra sockets in the default dir. temp dirs are simple to make,
and would allow isolation. however, they wouldn't be testing default
functionality.
these tests have not been tried on a windows machine
