Comment #14 on issue 6 by [email protected]: real keyboard support http://code.google.com/p/partiwm/issues/detail?id=6
It appears I misunderstood your previous message, then. I thought you mentioned winswitch.org as an alternative, not your recommendation. I looked at it more closely, and for awhile I wondered what winswitch had to do with xpra. I was hesitant to download anything from the download page you listed. However, after checking the FAQ page I understood the connection between winswitch and xpra. Then I found http://winswitch.org/src/ , where I was able to download xpra-0.0.7.20 directly. I built and tried that out on my ubuntu (version 10.04) workstation (xpra servera and client), but found the "stuck key" (specifically the "alt" key) behavior to be unchanged. Again, I will hold off on installing this to my Mac (my second xpra client) given that it does not seem to be an improvement. As an aside, I noticed that running "./xpra --version" with this download still produces "xpra v0.0.6". I am absolutely certain I grabbed the right tarball, because the tarball has the version number in the name. I am also certain I am running the 'xpra' executable that was compiled within that source. So either the version number was not bumped in the source, or the tarball at http://winswitch.org/src/ was not loaded properly. If the latter is true, then perhaps I still haven't tested the correct fix, yet. -Matt _______________________________________________ Parti-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.partiwm.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/parti-discuss
