MACARONI & CHEESE WITH MEATBALLS

Want something different and good that they will beg for week after
week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the best dishes to make the hubby
smile or the
grand kids to say Grannie you are the best cook in the whole world.
This dish is
even better the next day or as leftovers--Just make sure to tightly
wrap
leftovers in saran wrap to avoid drying out--the casserole lid is not
enough.

2 BOXES CHEAP STORE BRAND MACARONI AND CHEESE
1 CAN CHEDDAR CHEESE SOUP
1 PACK ARMOUR FROZEN MEATBALLS (NOT CAJUN)
ITALIAN OR REGULAR ARE BEST
1 SMALL JAR PIMIENTOS
1 CAN FRENCH FRIED ONIONS
1/2 CUP EVAPORATED MILK
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese(optional) this is put on top when dish is
done
and put back in oven and slightly browned,if your family likes theirs
that
way--then sprinkle the onions on top when served.

BOIL MACARONI ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS ON BOX--DRAIN AND IN A LARGE
BOWL DUMP
MACARONI--MIX IN POWDERED CHEESE PACKET AND 1/2 CUP OF MILK,,-MIX IN
PIMIENTOS AND SET ASIDE---BROWN MEATBALLS IN SKILLET AND DRAIN OFF ANY
EXCESS
GREASE---DUMP BALLS INTO MACARONI NOODLES AND MIX IN CHEESE SOUP--MIX
WELL-- POUR
INTO CASSEROLE DISH --BAKE COVERED IN 350 OVEN FOR 30 MINUTES. Top
with cheese
and brown if desired but this step can be left out---but the end result
is
well worth the added expense of the extra cheese. WHEN SERVING ON PLATE
SPRINKLE
FRENCH FRIED ONIONS ON TOP OF EACH SERVING DO NOT DO THIS BEFORE READY
TO EAT
,FOR THE ONIONS NEED TO REMAIN CRISPY TO GET THE RIGHT EFFECT.
VARIATION--ADD ONE CAN MUSHROOM PIECES BUT THIS IS OPTIONAL.
