I assume the patch will still apply.  Chasing moving targets like
stable kernel releases is rarely fun.  But I'm surprised that
anything in the kernel needed fixing - from my idle reading of lkml
I've seen various patches for gcc-8 issues being supplied.

And I'm glad DJ is looking at this (but I guess BLFS will be much
more of a problem, from a quick look at the Release Notes re g++).

This is probably the wrong list, but I am planning to do a complete LFS/BLFS build, but will not be able to start until after May 8.
