Hi Catherine, Won’t we confuse users by giving them a sense of control through the hamburger icon that toggles the navigation but at the same time taking that control away by toggling the navigation for them on certain pages.
The end result might feel like random behaviour for a user who isn’t in the known. More predictable behaviour might be a hamburger icon that toggles the navigation and keeps the state for subsequent pages. Then the user is in the driving seat. But maybe it won’t be a problem, user testing should be able to tell you.
