I'm currently working on an application that uses a date range picker. It's a common experience used by travel web apps (airlines, Airbnb, hotels). In some cases I've seen the date input field split into two fields (start + end), and in others I've seen the field combined into one box, as shown in the example below.
When the date range field is active, this dropdown appears. Users can click a start date and then select an end date. The picker shows two months at a time to allow the user to select a longer range easily. [image: Inline image 3] Is this similar to what you're looking for?
